A happy honk for the sad trombone

He loves life, has a sunny disposition and a musical spring in his step.

Unfortunately, his trombone doesn’t share his zest and only plays the blues.

Mr Honk decides he must get to the heart of the matter and cheer her up.

In the process, he has some surprising revelations and achieves extraordinary results.

With a combination of live music and hilarious physical comedy, The Honk Project bring audiences a delightful story of a character who, through mishap and misadventure, ends up touching everyone’s lives with magic.

The Honk Project is a group of talented musicians and performers and was founded in 2007.

They specialise in bringing music and clowning together in hilarious, eccentric and inventive productions for children and families, indoor and outdoor.

Its a production for all ages from five years upwards.

Catch Mr Honk And His Sad Trombone on tour at Luton Library Theatre on Saturday at 2pm.

It’s the second tour for Mr Honk, who toured to wide acclaim last autumn and also provides clowning workshops.

The group is supported with funding from the Arts Council.
