Banding together to raise money for Lilly
One Night Of Bands was the brainchild of a group of metal musicians from Dunstable, who performed on the night as Lilly’s Band.
Also playing at Luton’s Vauxhall Recreation Centre were Arms Of Atlas, Sarah Doe and Luton favourites the Shabby Tinkerz. Vauxhall gave their Riverside Suite free of charge to host the event, which raised around £1,000 for the Help Lilly Appeal.

“Lilly’s Band absolutely loved it, they were so excited.”
Baby Lilly, of Lowther Road, Dunstable, suffers from a rare form of cancer called neuroblastoma and is currently in New York for pioneering drug treatment.
So far the kind-hearted community have raised around £200,000 to fund the therapy, which is expected to cost about £300,000 in total. Fundraising events continue every week as Lilly’s family continue to hope for a miracle.
But the last few weeks have been tough times for the tiny tot, who has had a course of chemotherapy to prepare for the therapy.

On Monday, doctors planned to take stem cells from Lilly’s tiny body, for back-up for her antibody treatment.
But despite a gruelling few days last week, our little fighter was showing signs of improvement over the weekend, crawling around and eating well.
But she still needs your help to reach the grand total of £300,000.
