Charity music event for brave Bailey

A family fun day in aid of a 13-year-old boy who is battling a rare cancer for the second time is taking place on Saturday September 15.

Bailey Sarwa from St Albans is suffering a relapse of neuroblastoma, a rare cancer that affects nerve cells, after nearly seven years in remission.

The all-day music event in Caddington is part of a series of events to raise the £500,000 needed for Bailey to receive potentially life-saving antibody treatment in the US.

‘Team Bailey’, including parents Chris Sarwa and Becki Jones, Bailey’s brother Morgan, stepdad Gavin Jones and stepmum Suze McCallum have already raised over £5,000.

The latest fundraiser will feature Mick Flavin, Whiskey B4 Breakfast, Caroline, Funkionettes and DJ Tony J.

There will be a licensed bar, fun fair ride and activities for all the family at Erin House in Dunstabel Road, Caddington.

From 4pm - late, tickets £20 for adults, £10 for under 18s and under 12s free.
