Dynamo in town for magical charity boxing night

WORLD-famous magician Dynamo is coming to Luton for a night of spectacular entertainment.

The illusionist, whose celebrity fans include Jay-Z, Coldplay and Will Smith, will be performing at a Hockwell Ring Amateur Boxing Club charity event in Luton on Friday October 28.

The night of fine dining, amateur boxing and magic will raise money for Keech Hospice Care and Luton Irish Forum.

Organiser Joe Brett said: “Events like this don’t come along very often in Luton. It’s an opportunity for everyone to dress up, have a great night out at a really different kind of event and raise money for charity.”

Dynamo, whose latest stunt involved walking on water across the River Thames in London for his TV show Dynamo: Magician Impossible will be putting on a thrilling performance for guests.

The Home Counties v Western Counties amateur boxing will also provide great sporting entertainment on the night at Auction House in Crescent Road, Luton.

Mr Brett said: “Even people who haven’t watched any boxing before are encouraged to come along and find out what it’s all about. Amateur boxing isn’t gruesome or brutal, it’s about technical ability and skill. We have both men and women who come to our events and they all enjoy watching the sport.

“It’s a black tie dress code for dinner guests so it’s a really glamorous occasion. Our last event six months ago sold out and I’ve no doubt this will do the same.”

Gold table tickets are £70 each and silver table tickets are £60 each, which each include a three-course meal.

Bronze tickets for boxing only are £15.
