Frighteningly good fun at Spooktacular

I WENT to an early Hallowe’en party on Friday night and was amazed at the efforts the hosts had gone to.

Not only did their flat boast numerous skeletons, spiders and cobwebs, there was also a bubbling cauldron and fake blood to boot.

So I’m already in the scary mood. And it is a good job really, for TADS Theatre present a Spooktacular this weekend to get into the spooky spirit.

And the Toddington theatre is the perfect spot for such a production.

For the Conger Lane venue is used to strange happenings, such as stage lights appearing to work on their own and costumes that have been mended between performances – when the theatre was locked and no-one inside.

Spend the witching hours of All Hallows Eve enjoying an evening of songs and dances on a spooky theme with TADS Spooktacular on Friday and Saturday.

Tickets are £5 and can be ordered through Punch Opticians in Toddington, online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/tads on through the box office on 07952 633234.

Tickets are also on sale for the TADS seasonal show Cinderella, which opens on December 10.

But when the Dame shouts “He’s behind you!” in the pantomime, remember there may well be a ghost to see when you look over your shoulder!

Cinderella tickets are also available now from the box office or online.
