Small-screen star Jeff Stevenson has appeared on many TV shows doing stand-up and as an actor.

He played a stag comic at Rodney Trotter’s stag night in Only Fools and Horses, as well as taking the role of Louis in the Alan Parker film Bugsy Malone.

UK based Aussie Ro Campbell has spent five years honing his craft by gigging all over the UK, Ireland, Europe and beyond.

He has performed at the last five Edinburgh Fringe festivals and made The Scotsman’s pick of Best Jokes of The Fringe in 2009, as well as being described as “effortlessly brilliant” by The List, Edinburgh.

Ro has also performed at Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Adelaide Fringe and has written for British television and radio.

Last on the bill is exiled Cornishman Paul Kerensa – British Comedy Award Nominee 2007.

A popular and reliable headline act, Paul is a regular at the UK’s biggest venues.

Still only in his late twenties, Paul has, as a ginger man, battled both prejudice and apathy, and emerged to win ITV’s Take The Mike stand-up competition in 2002. In the same year, he appeared in four new act finals at the Edinburgh Festival, including the televised BBC New Comedy Awards.

He writes for various sitcoms, including BBC1 hits Not Going Out and After You’ve Gone, as well as sketch shows such as Dead Ringers, ITV’s CGI UK and BBC3’s The Wrong Door.

He was awarded the Titheridge Prize as BBC Radio Entertainment’s in-house comedy writer, and has also written for The News Quiz and The Now Show.

A stalwart at the Edinburgh Festival, whether in plays, sketch shows or stand-up, Paul is known for previous popular shows Paul Kerensa’s 26 – themed around TV show 24 – Back To The Futon and his bluffer’s guide to the biblical book of Genesis.

Barnstormers tickets cost £10 in advance or £12 on the door. To book call the box office on 01582 602080 or online at www.grovetheatre.co.uk
