Hide AdMales Rupert and Spartacus have made it their job to watch over the little llama.
The baby was born last Thursday, and the first signs of labour were in fact spotted by a member of the public visiting the farm.
The llamas were cordoned off from the public for the duration of the labour.
As soon as Desmond was on his feet, he was let out to meet the other llamas at Woodside.
