Luton Culture is hosting an array of events across multiple sites, including Stockwood Discovery Centre, The Hat Factory and Luton Libraries.

In preparation for upcoming performances of children’s stories The Very Hungry Caterpillar and We’re Going On A Bear Hunt in the autumn, Luton Culture are offering explorative workshops reading the popular children’s books in the gardens of Stockwood Discovery Centre throughout August.

A tale of dedication can be found in Stockwood Discovery Centre’s exhibition space where the Brick Kingdom Lego exhibit runs until Sunday September 4. Children and adults alike are invited to solve challenges and attempt to defeat the evil wizard.

A ‘myths and magic’-themed Lego workshop celebrates the Brick Kingdom every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday until Thursday September 1, giving children the chance to create and build their own Lego dragon to take home.

Crafty Creations drop-in sessions are running at Luton Central Library through August, and there is a chance for grown-ups to get involved in discovering local craft merchandise at the Designer Makers’ Fair on Saturday August 13 at The Hat Factory.

Connors Café Bar at The Hat Factory hosts an acoustic session every Friday. And those more keen on classic rock’n’roll can get “all shook up” with the King at The Ultimate Elvis Tribute on Friday August 12 at Luton Library Theatre.
