Theatre groups spread the Christmas cheer with fabulous festive pantomimes
The Griffin Players are performing Cinderella, which will be the only pantomime at the theatre this year.
The classic fairytale story takes on a panto-tastic twist with the Ugly Sisters played by Richard Lovelock and Paul Rogers in true Dame style.

Hide AdWicked Stepmother (Sarah Farrar) steps up to the mark as a real baddie who children and grown-ups will love to boo.
The Griffin Players promise audiences will love the colourful costumes, the booing, the hissing and of course the cheering when – hopefully – the Fairy Godmother (Sharon
Robinson) saves the day.
A spokesman for the Griffins said: “We are also delighted to have Megan Clarke as the
oh-so-dashing Prince Charming, in her pantomime debut.
Charlotte Tabert joins the Griffins once again as musical director, with a mix of songs from the old (Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better) to the ultra modern (Best Song Ever, by One Direction and When I Was Your Man by Bruno Mars to name but two). With Gary Nash at the helm as both director and set designer, and Jackie Houghton once again putting the dancers through their paces, this show is one not to be missed.”
