Airport flies in to help NOAH

A TEAM of five Luton Airport volunteers carried out a flying revamp on NOAH Enterprise’s Park Street welfare centre.

The shop, which is open every day and used by more than 1,000 people annually, was in desperate need of a refresh.

Airport marketing spokeswoman Louise Ross said: “We gave just a few hours to decorate the shop but it will make so much difference to NOAH and enable them to continue their excellent work. It was a pleasure to be involved.”

NOAH Chief executive Jim O’Connor said: “This is just one example of the tremendous support we’ve received from the airport for those among the town’s most deprived.

“Their team brought skill and energy wrapped in smiles.”
