Appeal after fatal collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision on the A5 on Saturday in which a man sadly died.

At approximately 8.55pm, police were called to reports of a collision between a red Citroen Picasso and a blue and white Suzuki motorcycle on the A5 in Dunstable, at the junction with Chiltern Road.

Emergency services attended but the motorcyclist, a man in his 50s from Toddington, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who saw the vehicles in the vicinity beforehand, to contact them.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the forensic collisions investigation unit on 101 quoting Operation Bingley.
