Beauty therapist wins top award
Carla Lewis, 26, of Enslow Close, was presented with her plaque at an awards night in London on Sunday, February 22.
It is the most established awards for the beauty and aesthetics markets, recognising those who make a real difference to the industry.

Hide AdThe former Barnfield College student started off as a Saturday girls at Breathing Space Day Spa and Studio, Harpenden, and has progressed to become manager.
She said: “I am honoured to accept this award for therapist of the year!
“I had to tell the judges about my career and attend a day at the London School of Beauty to meet the judges and show them what I can do.
“I am at an exciting chapter in my journey with the launch of my new semi permanent clinic and I will continue to strive for perfection and aim to achieve my personal goals for the future.
“Thank you to everyone for their amazing support.”

Hide AdThe Beauty Therapist recently started a new project, The SP Clinic, a semi permanent make up business, running out of Breathing Space Spa.
It offers eyebrow, eye-liner and lip treatments for cosmetic and for people who have had hair loss, undergone chemotherapy, surgery or to boost confidence.
Spa owners Jane and Keith Lunn, said: “Carla Lewis has been working with us for ten years.
“We are absolutely thrilled for her to win this prestigious award, so well deserved after all her hard work and efforts.
“She is a credit to Breathing Space.”

Hide AdThe 26-year-old trains every new therapist that comes to work in the Spa, one day she would love to have her own training school.
She added: “I have worked tremendously hard to get to this point in my career and I can honestly say it has paid off.”
