Brave Maggie has more surgery
TODDINGTON mum Maggie Thomas has had surgery to remove another tumour from her right lung.
The mother-of-six – who is fighting cancer with every breath in her body – is hoping she will be strong enough to return to Germany next month for revolutionary hyperthermia treatment.
Her husband David said she was still very positive, in spite of their disappointment that only one tumour had been excised. “They were worried about the lung collapsing,” he explained.
The Herald&Post has been spearheading a campaign to fund her stay at the German clinic as the Thomases have spent their life savings.
