Bride-to-be sheds 10 stone for wedding

When the pictures were posted on social media, she decided she needed to start slimming - fast. She joined a slimming club and made such a success of her weight loss that she was voted her group’s Woman of the Year and Miss Slinky.

“It felt like an amazing achievement,” she recalled. “I found that staying with the group gave me so much support and I have made some life-long friends.”

A year later she has shed an astonishing 10 stone and now feels good enough to wear a wedding dress.

She said: “I’m getting married in April and my life has changed in so many ways. Before I would never have had the confidence to walk down the aisle – now I can’t wait.”

She is also turning her success into a career – Emma is relaunching Slimming World’s 9.30am Friday morning class at Stopsley Baptist Church.
