The owners of a new tattoo studio are inviting the Dunstable community to join them at their opening party on Saturday, May 16.

Hand of Mysteries, of West Street, will be offering laser removals, custom tattoos and body piercings.

Business partners, Matt Spiers, 31, and Lee Prescott, 33, want to make people feel welcome when they enter their studio.

Matt said: “We have taken everything negative from studios that we have experienced and flipped it on its head.

“We have a lounge style area with flat screens and chaise lounges, so our customers can relax.

“Our work stations have been fitted with flat screen TVs and wireless headphones so the clients can watch a movie while they are tattooed.”

Every month they will be running competitions to raise money for charity.

Matt said: “We are both keen on giving back to the community, we will be running competitions every month, this month we will be raising money for a local homeless charity.”
