Outdoor furniture will be set up and local businesses will be open offering a wide range of delicious food and drink.

Debra Knight, Art Director, Poet and Artist at NINE RED Presents who is putting the carnival programme together, said: “We’re very excited that Luton’s Cultural Quarter is hosting a carnival-themed event and providing an amazing opportunity for Luton’s carnival artists to showcase and celebrate our town as well as the history carnival”.

The Cultural Quarter is a collection of creative businesses, independent retailers, restaurants and event venues with live entertainment in the Bute and Guildford street area. The space already hosts regular events, gigs, live entertainment and festivals, along with the state-of-the-art £3.2 million Youthscape building and Luton’s very own Jazz & Blues Club.

The event brings to a close three consecutive weekends of entertainment which has included local dance and music performances, food stalls and entertainment on a big screen.
