Chaos on M1 after two incidents
A lorry fire and an accident are currently causing huge delays on the M1 around Luton and Toddington.
One lane is closed and long delays reported on the M1 northbound after J13, A421 (Bedford), because of a lorry fire and recovery work. Travel time is around 30 minutes and congestion to J12, A5120 (Toddington).
Southbound between the A505 Dunstable Road [junction 11] and M1 [junction 10], one lane is closed and queueing traffic because of an accident.
