Charlotte showcases model talent

TEENAGE photographer Charlotte Mulford has come up with a snapshot of vintage fashion with her focus on a future as a star for Vogue magazine.

The Cedars Upper School student, who is studying, among her A Levels, photography at Vandyke Upper, has made a debut in the business with an exhibition of her work in the window of Ollie Vee’s retro clothing store in Market Square, Leighton.

The stylish shots have been made possible thanks to the help of friend and fellow Cedars student Alicia Wickert who modelled the stunning vintage clothes.

Charlotte, 18, of Peddars Lane, Stanbridge, is looking forward to a career in fashion photography and intends to take up a place at Southampton Solent University to study the subject. Her proud mum, Linda, said: “Charlotte has already done some mock Vogue front covers for the A Level course and one day she’d like to work for the magazine. This is her first exhibition and it’s very exciting.”

Charlotte, who is a keen fan of 1950s vintage fashion, said: “I chose a vintage theme for my course. I love the fashions and they look great with black and white photography and colour.”
