Appeal after road rage incident

A road rage incident last week left a car damaged and a victim badly shaken.

At around 8:30pm on December 2, two cars were involved in a minor altercation on New Bedford Road, at the Riddy Lane junction.

A short time later, another incident involving the same two vehicles occurred at the Kingsdown Avenue/Austin Road traffic lights, where a man driving a white Ford Kuga shouted abusive language and caused damage to the second car.

The offender is described as white, in his 50’s and stocky.

PC Ruth John-Chambers, investigating, said: “The victim’s vehicle was damaged as a result of the offender’s actions, and the victim has understandably been left shaken after the incident. This kind of behaviour will not be tolerated.”
