Appeal after serious assault

Police are appealing for information after a serious assault in Luton on Wednesday (2 December).

The victim was approached by a woman in Havelock Road who assaulted her as she walked past People’s Park from the direction of Mussons Path.

The offender made off via Frederick Street Passage towards William Street.

The offender is described as white, in her mid-to-late 20s, around five foot, slim with blonde hair. She wore a three-quarter-length green jacket with a hood.

Detective Sergeant Tom Hamm, investigating, said: “This incident has significantly impacted upon the victim and the offender needs to be brought to justice. I would appeal to the person responsible or others that may know her identity to come forward.”
