Appeal for victim to come forward after ‘nasty’ Dunstable missile attack

Police are appealing for the victim of a ‘nasty’ missile attack in Dunstable to come forward.

The assault is said to have happened at College Drive on April 18 while a man was stood waiting at a bus stop.

A passing white van approached and the driver is said to have thrown something at the victim.

An eye witness said: “The driver threw something quite hard out of the van at a man at the bus stop - knocking him over.

“What sort of yobs are these?”

A Beds Police spokesman said: “We received a report of something being thrown from a van window at a person in College Drive, Dunstable, on Monday April 18 at around 5.10pm.

“As of yet no victim has come forward and we would appeal to the person that was hit by the object to contact us on 101 and quote reference number 267 of 18 April.”
