Beds man in court on contract killing charge
A man is due to appear in court today charged with trying to arrange a contract killing.
Paul Matthews, 48, of no fixed address, was arrested by the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit at an address in Norfolk on Wednesday (8 April).
Matthews, also known as Paul Vass, has been charged with soliciting to commit murder and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
He will appear at Luton Magistrates’ Court today (Friday).
The alleged intended victim lives in Bedfordshire.
