Burglar tricks his way into elderly man’s home in Luton

Police investigating a distraction burglary of an elderly man in Luton have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to.

At around 12.45pm on Friday, April 17, in Derwent Road, Luton, the victim was was approached by someone who tricked their way into the man’s house before stealing a number of items.

Investigation Officer Jenita Tailor said: “This is a horrible crime and we are asking the man pictured in the CCTV images, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward as we believe he could help us with our enquiries.
