Hunt for Luton gang who rammed car into victim and threatened him with baseball bats

Police are hunting a gang who rammed a car into a man in Luton before threatening him with baseball bats.

At 8.20pm on Saturday, August 15, the victim was approached by a man in Baker Street in New Town and a fight broke out.

Shortly afterwards, a silver Audi carrying three men was driven at the victim and caused him serious injuries.

The men then got out of the car while holding baseball bats, and the victim ran off.

They group are described as Asian men.

Detective Sergeant Ryan Barnes said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward, or anyone who may have seen the silver car in the area at the time.

“We do not tolerate this kind of behaviour in our county and we are determined to find those responsible.”
