Hunt for Luton thugs who beat man and tried to force him into car

Police are hunting two thugs who beat a man in a Luton street and tried to force him into their car.

The assault took place on Biscot Road at around 8pm on Sunday, January 10.

The victim was walking along the road when he was chased by two men, one of whom attacked him.

At the junction of Dorrington Close, a vehicle pulled up alongside, and the second man tried to drag the victim into the car but failed.

Both men then got into the car and the vehicle made off towards Luton town centre.

DC Catherine Layton said: “This incident took place on a busy residential road, and I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time, and witnessed anything however small, to come forward.

“I would also ask people to check any home CCTV, or dash cam footage, as it may assist our enquiries to establish the circumstances of the incident and identify the offenders.”
