A car used during a burglary in Essex in which a nine-week-old puppy was stolen has turned up in Luton - but minus the puppy.
Pickle, a white Maltese terrier , was stolen from the kitchen of a house in West Horndon on Monday along with the family’s black Range Rover sport, reg number AV6 XJP.
The car turned up in Luton the same day but Pickle is still missing.
Thethieves left behind the family’s other Maltese terrier, aged three.
Pickle’s owner Adele Rowley said: “I’ve only had Pickle a week but have grown really attached to her. My other dog is missing her too – her tail has been down since she was taken.
“I just can’t understand why someone would take Pickle and need to know she is being fed and looked after.
“Please help share our appeal and if you know anything, please do the right thing and call the police.”
