A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm and common assault after an incident in Luton earlier today (Tuesday).

Police were called to reports of an assault on Guilford Street in Luton at around 11.35am today (Tuesday).

The Luton Community Policing posted about the arrest on Twitter (@LutonCPT): "Male arrested by Town Center officers for using this plank of wood to assault someone. We will not tolerate this type of violent behaviour in our town."
