Man assaulted and robbed of his phone and wallet in Luton park

Police are investigating after a man was robbed and assaulted in a park in Luton on Monday night.

At around 10.30pm on Monday, November 30, the victim was approached by three men in Peoples Park, Havelock Road.

One of the men punched the victim, causing him to fall on the ground, before the other two began assaulting him.

The three men took his phone and wallet before making off on bikes.

The offenders were described as two white men and one black man, and were all around six foot tall.

Detected Constable Romaana Kayani, investigating, said: “This incident has left the victim very shaken and we are keen to catch those responsible.

“If anyone has any information or witnessed the robbery, then please come forward and report it.”
