Man attacked as he left his bank

A man was robbed in Marsh Road in Luton as he left his bank.

At around 2pm on Thursday, the victim was leaving Barclays Bank. He was approached by two men who pushed him to the ground and stole money from him which he had just withdrawn. The first offender is described as Asian, aged in his mid-20s, of stocky build and wearing a grey tracksuit.

The second is also described as Asian, aged in his 20s, around 6’2” and wearing a black tracksuit top and blue bottoms.

Detective Constable Andi Crouch, investigating, said: “Thankfully the victim did not sustain any injuries. If you were in the area at the time, or if you know the people responsible, please come forward.”
