Man injured in “nasty” attack outside Asda in Dunstable

A man required hospital treatment after he was brutally attacked from behind in Dunstable.

The attack happened on Tuesday, January 12 outside Asda in Court Drive between 5.20pm and 6.30pm.

The victim was assaulted from behind by a man who got out of the passenger seat of the Fiat 500 in the car park.

The offender is described as a white man aged in his late teens, with short fair hair, of atheletic build, and approximately 5’10”. He was wearing a light coloured tracksuit top and light coloured jogging bottoms.

The driver of the Fiat is described as a white man in his late teens with fair hair.

Det Con Surfaz Hussain said: “This was a nasty assault by a young man which left the innocent victim injured and requiring hospital treatment.

“I’m appealing for people to cast their minds back to see if they can remember the altercation, and if so I’d like to hear from them so that we can help find the person responsible.”
