Man stabbed in the arm in Dunstable park

A man was brutally stabbed in the arm in the middle of a busy park in Dunstable.

The attack took place at the park in Kingsbury Avenue at around 3.30pm last Thursday (May 28).

The victim was stabbed as he tried to run from his attacker. He was left with a serious injury to his arm and was taken to hospital.

The suspect is described by police as a black man who was wearing jeans and a white T-shirt.

Detective Constable Jabbar Khan, investigating, said: “This was a brutal incident in which the victim received a significant stab wound to his arm, requiring surgery.

“We know that there were a number of people in the park at the time and a group of youths playing football very near to where the incident, so we would urge them to come forward and tell us what happened.”
