The mystery of how a man was injured during an incident in Dunstable town centre is being investigated by police.

Detectives are appealing for information after the 53-year-old victim was found with wounds to his head and a leg in Court Drive at about 10pm on Saturday, November 22.

The man had been out drinking with friends at the sports bar nearby. His wallet was missing following the incident.

Det Con Helen Toms, investigating, said: “Details are sketchy around what happened, but the victim left the bar at about 6.30pm and can then remember waking up some three-and-a-half hours later.

“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area of Court Drive between 6.30pm and 10pm and saw what happened to call police.”

Anyone with information relating to this incident can contact Det Con Toms on 101, or text information to 07786 200011.
