Robbers attack and steal victim's wallet

A robbery victim had his wallet stolen after being assaulted by three men.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident in Luton on Sunday.

At around 11.30pm, the victim was walking along Moor Path, which runs from Brook Street to Cromwell Road, when he passed three men sitting on a wall. They assaulted him while demanding money, and then took the wallet.

They then made off towards New Bedford Road.

The first man is described as black, slender, 5ft 8ins, with a local accent, short hair and was wearing a black long sleeved top, black trousers and a black baseball cap.

The second man was black, in his early 30s, 5ft 6ins, had short dark hair and was wearing a light grey long sleeved hooded top and dark grey bottoms.

The third was a white male, of slender build in his early 30s, wearing a two-toned long sleeve top.

Detective Constable Jabber Khan, investigating, said: “Thankfully the victim did not sustain any serious injuries but this ordeal is enough to leave anyone shaken. If you know who is responsible, or you have any information about who is, please come forward as you may be able to assist with our investigation.”
