A 12-year-old boy was viciously attacked by a group of masked older teenagers in Dunstable.

The gang of around six members assaulted the young boy near King’s takeaway in Houghton Parade at about 8.20pm on Friday, August 7.

The attackers were described as being about 18 years old, were wearing black bandanas and ‘skeleton’ masks, dark blue or black tracksuits and gloves.

The victim suffered cuts in the attack and was shaken up.

PC Luke Litchfield, investigating, said: “This was a nasty, unprovoked attack and the group were described as laughing as they ran away.

“I would urge anyone who knows who is responsible or has any information to call police.”

Anyone with any information should contact PC 5597 Litchfield, or the Local Policing team at Dunstable Police Station, call 101, text information to 07786 200 011 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
