Two arrests after man stabbed in Luton

Two men have been arrested after a stabbing in Luton yesterday afternoon.

The incident took place in Maple Road shortly before 4pm.

A Beds Police spokesman said: "We were called at approximately 3.55pm to reports that a man had been stabbed in Maple Road, Luton.

"Emergency services were called and the man was taken to hospital.

"His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

"Two men were arrested in connection with the incident shortly afterwards and were taken to police custody for questioning."
