Two attempted burglaries in Dunstable

Police are appealing for witnesses after two attempted burglaries in Lowther Road, Dunstable.

Three men entered the property at around 7.15pm on Wednesday, November 25, they made threats before leaving without stealing anything.

The following evening three men came back and tried to enter the property again, but failed.

In both incidents the men are described as white, in their late teens, of medium build and height, and with their faces covered.

Detective Constable Alan Boxall, investigating, said: “We believe that the same men were involved in both incidences and it appears to be an unprovoked yet targeted show of criminality.

“I would urge anyone with information to get in touch so that we can apprehend those responsible before they strike elsewhere.”

Anyone with information can contact DC Boxall on 101.
