Woman suffers serious injuries


Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault in Dunstable which left a woman with serious injuries on Friday, December 19.

The woman, in her 20s, was attacked outside Subway in High Street North at about 3am, after she had left The Crown pub.

Two men bumped into her and one of them punched her in the face, she was knocked unconscious and suffered a broken nose and injuries to her wrist.

The men ran off towards the Quadrant Shopping Centre car park.

The offender is described as a white man, about 17 years old, wearing a dark jacket and dark cap.

Detective Constable Samantha Toombs, investigating, said: “This is a particularly vicious attack on a young woman.
