Do you recognise these fuel thieves?

POLICE want to speak to three men in connection with fuel thefts in Bedfordshire.

They have released CCTV pictures of people who were possibly involved in the incidents.

The first incident happened at Grovebury filling station in Leighton Buzzard at 2pm on Friday November 25.

A red Vauxhall Astra, registration plate R369 TMO, which had been stolen from Leighton Buzzard, pulled onto the forceourt and the rear seat passenger started filling the vehicle with £39.12 worth of diesel.

However, a security guard came out of the petrol station shop and the driver then drove off, leaving the passenger at the pump before he ran after the car.

At 7pm on the same day, a dark coloured (possibly grey or silver) Alfa Romeo with registration number KM08 XFW, pulled onto the forecourt of the Shell service station in Eaton Green Road, Luton.

A backseat passenger filled the car with £67.59 of diesel before getting back into the car and being driven off without making any attempt to pay for the fuel.

The man is described as white, in his late teens or early 20s, around 5ft7, of slim build with light coloured hair.

He was wearing a dark coloured top and black bottoms.

The driver of the vehicle was briefly caught on camera and is a white male with brown hair wearing a dark coloured top.
