Dunstable Town Centre manager Clare Brett on exciting plans for the summer

I say this every year, but this year really does seem to be passing so quickly and already the summer holidays are fast approaching!

The exam period is nearly over, and many of the town’s young people can now breathe a sigh of relief, having the summer to relax.

However, for all the parents and carers out there, it might be more of a sharp intake of breath as you prepare for the break and wonder how to entertain them!

Well, Dunstable Town Council officers have been working on a fantastic programme of free and affordable events to help you, with our Summer Activities programme for 2016, includng archery, pictured above.

This year events begin on 26 July, running through to the end of August and will include arts and crafts, sports, an inflatable day and even some story telling for the younger ones. All are welcome and officers are looking forward to a brilliant summer of fun, crafts and hopefully sun!

For more on the events call 01582 891434 or visit the website: and get those dates in your diary! Want to know more in general about what’s happening for young people across the town.
