Queensbury: an excellent set of A level results

Queensbury Academy sixth formers have yet again achieved some excellent results this summer.

Through their hard work and with the support of their teachers they have achieved some impressive grades that have given them the opportunity to get into some top universities or for some, to beat other applicants in gaining an apprenticeship place.

Over half of the students gained at least 1 A*-B grade. Particular highlights would be thosestudents taking English literature who gained on average an A* grade, putting them amongst the best in the country.

Individual performances to celebrate were:

Nicholas Allam A*, A, A, A and a merit in the advanced extension award in Mathematics.

Flora Dempsey A*,A, A, C

Ella-Louise Kelly A, B, B
