Be aware of road closures

Drivers are advised to allow extra time for journeys – particularly to and from Luton Airport – during February and March.

There will be a series of road closures as part of the M1 J10a improvements scheme.

Overnight on Thursday (February 26) the westbound lane of the M1 spur road (heading towards the motorway) will be closed from 8pm to 6am.

The M1 spur and A1081 New Airport Way (from J10 to Capability Green) will be closed from 8pm on Friday, February 27 until 6am on Monday, March 2. During this period no traffic will be able to exit the M1 at J10.
