Dunstable Town Centre Manager Annette Clynes on half term fun

Halloween and half term are just around the corner, apart from the traditional trick or treat, what else is there to do?

A free family fun day at Creasy Park Community Football Centre from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon on the 23 October. There will be arts and crafts and games for the whole family.

Wheelie fantastic in partnership with Beecroft residents will be holding their replanting ready for winter event, with arts and crafts on the day. From 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm on the 25 October, meeting at Westfield Road shops.

How about a ghost walk? Dunstable Town Guides have four walks on offer, which need to be booked in advance. Tickets are £5 for an adult and £2.50 a child. The Family walk is on Saturday 27 October at 6.30 pm, why not come in fancy dress! The adult only walks are 27, 31 October and 29 December all starting at 8.00 pm.

The junior and senior youth group at Grove Corner have spaces for their ghost walk on the 31 October at 7.30 pm. Tickets are £1.00 which are available at www.dunstable.gov.uk or call 01582 891434.

Dunstable firework display will be held at Creasey Park Community Football Centre and its free! Gates open at 5 pm so the whole family can enjoy funfair rides and meet Peppa Pig. Fireworks will start at 7 pm with an extravaganza of music and fireworks.
