Dunstable Town Council has a new sponsor - Deakin-White Estate Agents - for the 2017 events programme.

The estate agents will be supporting every event and helping promote the events to the local community.

The programme of events kicks off this month with St George’s Day, running through to the annual Christmas Tree Carols and Torchlight Procession event in December. In total there are 18 events this year in Dunstable organised by the Council.

Deakin-White has been supporting the events programme for a few years now but this year they have decided to get fully behind the programme and help boost the local event for their town.

Ed Harrison, Director at Deakin-White said: “As a local estate agent we always look at ways how we can help promote Dunstable as a great place to live and work in.

“Dunstable Town Council put on a great calendar of events for the town and wider community and we are delighted to be involved with these events to help promote Dunstable and offer the towns residence some exciting events.

“I’m really looking forward to the open air cinema in June & August.  Of course our mascot Mr White will be at all the events so remember to get your selfie with Mr White.”

Chairman of Community Services Councillor Patricia Staples said: “It is fantastic to get a local business involved with our events this year.

“Deakin-White have always been a good supporter of the events and this way we can work even closer together to increase the involvement with the local community.”

The first free event is St George’s Day on 22 April, in Priory Gardens.
