On the night of Sunday, July 3 and early hours of the following day, four robberies took place between around 6.10pm and 12.30am.

The offences took place in Telford Way, Lansdowne Road, Spencer Road and Biscot Road. In at least two of the incidents, the offender was thought to be armed with a knife. Det Con Mark Amey said: “This is a nasty spree of crimes which we believe may be linked. We believe there may have even been further offences committed around this time which haven’t been reported.”
