Free train ride home on New Year’s Eve

PARTYGOERS celebrating New Year in London will be able to get a free ride home, thanks to First Capital Connect.

An FCC spokesman said: “The offer is valid on services departing from London between 11.45pm and 4.30am.

“It will be available on both Thameslink and Great Northern services.”

But he added passengers should note they will still need to buy a ticket if they’re heading into the capital.

Customer service director Keith Jipps said the offer will be in place for the next four years.
