Funding help for broadband boost for Bedfordshire
A £1MILLION investment of government cash has been earmarked for Bedfordshire, to help boost broadband in the county.
The aim is also to ensure that superfast broadband is linked up to 90 per cent of homes and businesses in the area. To secure their share of the investment, local authorities are expected to draw up an effective broadband delivery plan.
And the idea is for them to match the government cash with funding from other sources.
