Gallery launches art directory online
A FLAGSHIP art website set up by B Gallery in Toddington is showing how independent artists and designers are using the web to connect with their market.
After 12 months of development, bgallery.co.uk has an interactive art directory filled with hundreds of artists, who each have their own online gallery – making it the UK’s fastest growing art directory.
Not long after the Market Square art centre opened in 2009, artists and customers suggested the art directory be replicated online. B Gallery co-founder Julie Boyle said: “Art is selling online.It’s a rising market and we are passionate about raising the standard of exhibiting artists together online and creating an open culture, benefiting artists and buyers.”
