Give blood before you go away

Blood is needed all year round but there are restrictions on what people are able to donate after travelling to certain countries.

Anyone aged between 17 and 65, who weighs more than 7 stone 12lbs and in general good health can donate.

Call 0300 123 23 23 or visit the Donor Centre in St Georges Square, Bridge Street, Luton, from 8am - 4.15pm today, 12pm-7.30pm on July 7 and 8am - 3.15pm on Friday July 8 and Saturday July 9.

There is also a donation session at the Methodist Church in The Square, Dunstable, from 9.45am- 12.30pm and 2pm - 4pm today (July 4).
