Have your say on police cuts and council tax

RESIDENTS are invited to have their say on Bedfordshire Police and how the force spends its money.

Bedfordshire Police Authority has launched a new survey to gather feedback as they prepare to discuss next year’s budget.

In the face of severe funding cuts, the Police Authority bosses are keen to find out the impact of changes on residents.

The survey will record residents’ experience of policing in the county over the past 12 months.

Questions include whether people have noticed any difference in the quality of service in the past year and whether they have been a victim of crime during that time. It allows them to express a preference for next year’s council tax precept.

The survey is at www.bedfordshirepoliceauthority.co.uk until January 26 2012.
