Keech takes the public vote

They included celebrities such as McBusted’s Harry Judd, chef Marco Pierre White, singer/songwriter Jamie Cullum and golfer Ian Poulter.

The two-year partnership aims to raise more than £50,000 to help the hospice continue its vital care for children and adults across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Milton Keynes.

Airport employees are already planning world record attempts, pop-up stores in the terminal and a fire walk to meet the ambitious target.

Spokesman Neil Thompson said: “Keech is a fantastic local charity and our staff are excited that the public chose to make it their winner.”

Acting hospice CEO Liz Searle said: “We need £14,000 a day to keep the hospice running and we rely on donations for 70 percent of our funding.

“Our new partnership with Luton Airport will allow us to give patients and their families the support they need.”
